Internal NotesBH-2 is the second medal in the Bunker Hill historical silver series, following BH-1 (“Noah Kellogg & Jackass - 1885 Discovery”).

The silver used is refined at Bunker Hill’s electrolytic refinery, one of the largest and purest in the United States at the time (producing 10 million oz of 999.5+ silver annually).

The Kellogg Tunnel was a monumental engineering project: 10,000 feet, 9 years of excavation, completed in 1902.

Within 5 years of its completion, mine production doubled and ore grade improved 75%, per the original Bunker Hill literature.

Metal Arts Co. (est. 1913) produced high-quality medallic work, including military insignia, corporate medals, and private silver rounds.

Edge lettering confirms the mint and authenticates the round.

Highly desirable for collectors of Idaho mining history, Northwest industry, and 1980s silver art medals.
