Security and Modernization (1960s–1980s)

By the 1960s, banks began phasing in zippered security bags made from vinyl and nylon. These often featured tamper-proof locks or seals for armored transport. Logos became more elaborate, printed in full color to reflect modern branding.
While canvas bags remained in service, their use shifted toward coin storage and teller operations rather than public deposit transport.
